Hapur: Lala Shambhu Dayal DAV Public School today celebrated 72nd independence day in its campus at Pilakhua in Hapur district, where national flag was hoisted by the principal of the school; Dr Om Prakash Mishra. The children of the school also organised various cultural programmes, skit, theatre on the life style of freedom fighters, patriotic songs were sung by children.
The programme was started with the hoisting of national flag followed by national anthem. The meritorious students were also awarded by the Chief Guest.
On his address; the Chief Guest and media person Saket Dinkar advised school children to save water, electricity and also protect environment. He advised the students to plant all seeds of fruits which they use in the day to day lives of every body. He guided the students to study any subject of their interests atleast 2 hour everyday. The student were advised to decide whatever they want to become in the future and work on it to get success. On this occasion, the land doner family members, who donated the land where the DAV Public School is built, the third generation members including the Vipin Kumar Gupta a renounced social worker and a Rotarian, pradeep Kaushal also a social workers, teachers, guests including Hansvir Singh; a horticulturist by profession, Punit Kansal a young member of a national party, Isaque Ali Sundar “Bhatauna” a renound & committed social worker working with WHO and Mayank a local resident were also present during the function.
