Lucknow: UP Special Task Force today arrested 2 accused who were trying to rob ATM cash van. The STF seized 2 pistol, live cartridges from their possession.
The STF Uttar Pradesh geared up against organized crime in this regard and STF got certain information about some crooks who were about to conduct loot with ATM cash van. As per inputs received by STF, the STF team surrounded the entire area under PS Vidhuna Kudur kot Road where crooks were about to come.
The STF had to wait till night near the defined place and around 1 am in the midnight the STF team meanwhile saw a suspicious moving bike in which 2 person were travelling.
The STF staff members alarmed the motorists to stop but inplace of stoping the bike, they tried to ran away from the spot and also pulled revolver and fired at STF personnel. During that time the STF staff had already alerted and fired back at bike riders and quickly arrested 2 accused namely Kunal and Pawan from the spot . The STF seized 2 country made pistols and some live cartridges from them.
According to Abhisek Singh, SSP STF, ” 2 accused have been arrested and durimg police investigation it came to the light that both the arrested accused are vicious crook and were trying to rob ATM Cas van.”
