Ghaziabad:The district police officials have beefed up and various security measures have been finalised at various level to effective plan smooth traffic management  in the city in view of PM Modi’s visit to the city for inauguration of Airport and Metro besides other development projects, in this election year. DIG/SSP Upendra Agrawal was busy in convening meetings and finalising deployment of  police personnel for effective law and order situation besides maintaining smooth traffic management in the city.

Since the chaotic traffic conditions of the city is realy a tedious job. This is more importance when you have a very limited numbers of police personnel, so traffic management is really a very important challenge specially during VVIP movements in the city.
This correspondent tried to contact Shlok Kumar the SP City Ghaziabad but couldn’t succeded to know the police plan in view of PM’s visit to the city. All the police officials are very busy from the day of confirmation of PM visit.
It is important to mention here that in the month of December last year when CM Yogi had visited this city to Inaugurate various development projects including unwilling of statue of late Prime Minister Choudhary Charan Singh at Patla Degree College, the Ghaziabad police had excellently managed traffic movement without any complaint of traffic jams.
So it is evident the present officials are having enough experience to handle the situation effectively, during VVIP movements.
The last visit of CM shall always be remembered for smooth traffic management. Even, the work of all the authorities of Ghaziabad I.e. district administration distraction, police, Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam Ghaziabad Development Authority, District Hospitals besides co-ordinating amongst all authorities were appreciated at all levels.
