Bulandshahr: The case of suicide by Dr Chaitanya Dev, one of the famous cardiologists in the district, came to light today. Primafaceae, it seems that Dr. Chaitanyadev was under depression for a long time and resultantly committed suicide. He committed suicide by shooting himself by his own licensed revolver in a room built in the nursing home where he was living alone there after the death of his wife.
On receiving the information of the incident, the area police team reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The dead body of doctor was sent for the post-mortem after filling the formalities.
The hospital’s heart disease specialist committed suicide by shooting himself in a complex named Rajvanti Foundation. Doctor Chaitanyadev was lying in a bedridden condition in his residence. The bullet was shot near his ear and on his head. The police, after examining the incident, took possession of the body and sent it to the post-mortem. In addition, the police has also sealed the room in which his dead body was found dead. According to the police, the neighboring people have said that Dr. Chaitanya is one of the major cardiologists in the city. His hospital was closed for a long time. So he was living in the depression after the death of his wife and his children were settled outside India and he was living alone in the said house. People said that his wife had also died in the past. While their children live separately from him. The sudden and an untimely death of a well qualified doctor of the city is an unfortunate event.
According to Bijender Bhadana station officer Gulaoti, “Doctor Chaitanyadev was lying in a bedridden condition in his residence. The bullet was shot near the ear in his head.
he was in the depression and living alone in the house. his wife Dr. Jyoti had also died in the past. While their children live separately from him. May be due to this
he committed suicide by shooting himself in his room of worship by his licensed revolver”.
People from every part of the city after listening the doctor’s death and are reaching the hospital to pay a respect to the departed body.
