Ghaziabad | U.P Govt announces Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to the family of journalist Vikram Joshi. A Govt job for his wife & free education for his children have also been promised.

Vikram Joshi, a young journalist, died on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital in the area of ​​Ghaziabad-NCR. Vikram was gunned down by a group of unsocial elements in Vijay Nagar area.  SSP Kalanidhi Naithani took quick action and suspended choki incharge Raghavendra Singh and handed over an investigation into the incident to the circle officer.
In this regard The Uttar Pradesh government, taking the matter seriously, announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh for the financial help of the family.

Ghaziabad District Magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey spoke about financial help in front of the family members at Yashoda Hospital.
On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted on behalf of Samajwadi Party to give Rs 2 lakh to the family of journalist Vikram Joshi.
In the Vikram Joshi murder case, BSP supremo Mayawati also expressed her condolences to the family of  Journalist Vikram Joshi through a tweet and requested the Uttar Pradesh government to fulfill the promise of financial help at the earliest.
