Ghaziabad: A 19-year-old female security personnel was gang-raped by the supervisor along with two of his colleagues. Hurt by the incident, the victim tried to suicide by consuming poison. The victim was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, where she passed away. The main accused has been arrested, the Police said.
The incident took place in Srishti Housing Society of under the jurisdiction of Republic Crossing Police Station. A 19-year-old girl native resident of Jharkhand works as a security guard in Srishti Housing Society. She lives with her aunt in a rented house in the same area.
The cousin of the victim had called Dial-112 and informed about the gang rape. When police reached in society, the co-workers had admitted the victim Vrindavan Hospital in Shahberi in serious condition. Seeing her critical condition, the referred her to AIIMS Delhi late night on Sunday, where she passed away on Monday morning.
An FIR has been registered against Security Supervisor Ajay and two unknown Accused at Republic Crossing Police Station for gang-raping a female security guard in the basement of the society. An investigation has been initiated into the entire matter, said Saloni Agarwal, the ACP Web City.
