An application was filed accusing a female colleague of rape, during the investigation of which the deceased Yogesh was called to the police post for questioning.
The said person committed suicide by hanging himself this morning. On receiving the information, he was immediately taken to the hospital and the family members were informed.
A case is being registered on the basis of the complaint given by the family members. Scientific evidence is being collected with the help of the field unit in the investigation.
Taking the incident seriously, the Police Commissioner Gautam Budh Nagar has suspended all the policemen present at the police post with immediate effect and has directed the Additional DCP Noida to conduct a detailed investigation of the entire incident. Strict action will be taken against anyone found negligent in the incident.
The Panchayatnama of the deceased is being done by the Magistrate and the post-mortem will be done by a panel of doctors and videography will be done.
