Lucknow – A burglary was reported at the residence of IPS officer Yamuna Prasad in Vikas Nagar, Lucknow. The house, which had been vacant for a long time as the officer is currently posted as DCP in Noida, was broken into by thieves who allegedly cut through the window grille to gain entry.
The intruders escaped with approximately ₹50,000 in cash, 10 silver coins, silver utensils, wristwatches, wall clocks, gift items, and even bathroom fittings.
Police have registered a case at Vikas Nagar police station and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the culprits.
