Bulandshar: Police station Jahagirabad arrested a mischievous person who twitted fake religious information on the social media platforms. Police also seized his mobile phone through which video was made viral.
Police station Jahagirabad Station Officer received a complainet regarding viral fake religious video tarnishing images of Hindu God with ulterior motive. SWAT team and SO Jahagirabad took this complaint seriously and started investigation on this matter. SWAT team also worked on this case and finally police arrested accused Arvind son of Gulabchand resident of Rajasthan. Police also seized a mobile phone related viral video from the possession of the accused.
As we know that festival of Shivratri is coming closer where a large number of pilgrims go to Haridwar for brining holy Gangajal to offer the same to God Shiva. Hence at this stage the police is alert to avert any mishappening and to maintain law and order from violation of any religious sentiments and further communal tension.
Accordingly, police personnel are extra alert to avert any mishappening in their respective jurisdiction. This was the reason police immediately took action on the issue against the person who made viral of such video in order to de-stablish communal harmony in the society. As this may be harmful in this community. The police step has been appreciated from many corners as it is a good step taken by Bulandshar Police.
