Mega cultural feast, “Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” Begins on March 25th

Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata, one of the world’s most anticipated cultural extravaganzas, will be held between March 25th and April 3rd, 2022, at the iconic 17th- century monument, Red Fort, New Delhi between 11am and 10pm, daily.
As part of the Government of India’s “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative to celebrate the 75 glorious years of India’s independence, the Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata promises a rich cultural treat to visitors. The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, along with Red Fort’s “Monument Mitra”, Dalmia Bharat Ltd has conceptualized the mega event.
Pegged as India’s most successful Public Private Partnership (PPP) model for the purpose of heritage conservation and tourism, Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata will be inaugurated by Smt. Smriti Irani, Minister of Women and Child Development of India, on Friday, 25th March 2022 at 10:00am.
“We foresee the very magnitude and significance of the Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata to be larger than life as it incorporates a fusion of art, culture, enthusiastic participation from culture lovers, food and presentation from across our nation,” said Mr. Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director, Dalmia Bharat Limited. “We are grateful to the Government of India for giving us the opportunity to contribute to our national legacy as a Monument Mitra for the Red Fort. “
Highlighting the history of India in engaging and interactive sequences, the Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata is being conceived as an annual event, underlining themes such as “the freedom struggle, ideas, resolve and achievements at 75 and beyond”. As part this initiative, Dalmia Bharat aims to instill national pride through sustenance for communities by improving jobs and opportunities.
The festival will feature a plethora of experiences including “Matrubhumi” –Projection Mapping Show, YATRA – A 360° immersive experience, a Cultural Parade, Khao Galli, Live performances at Rang Manch, Dances of India, Anokhe Vastra, Khel Manch and Khel Gaon and Yoga on the Go with Dr. Surakshit.
