Azam Khan, his son Abdullah and wife sentenced to 7 year’s

Rampur/Ghaziabad: The Rampur court has given a big decision in the case of two birth certificates of Abdullah Azam, son of Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. The court has sentenced Azam Khan, his son Abdullah Azam and wife Tanzin Fatma to seven years’ imprisonment. All of three have be sent directly to jail by orders of the court on Wednesday.

The Rampur Court had declared all three guilty in the case. The court gave its verdict on Wednesday after hearing the arguments of both the parties in the two birth certificate case of former SP MLA Abdullah Azam Khan.

In 2019, the then regional coordinator of the Small Industries Cell and BJP MLA Akash Saxena had filed a case in Ganj police station against former MLA Abdullah Azam, son of senior SP leader Azam Khan, for having two birth certificates, in which SP leader Azam Khan and his wife. Dr. Tanzin Fatma was also made an accused.

After investigation, the police filed the charge sheet in the court in the case. All three people are currently out on bail. The case is going on in the MP-MLA Magistrate Trial Court.
Abdullah Azam’s lawyers were to argue in this case on October 11, but an adjournment application was given by him in the court, hearing which the court ordered Abdullah to file written arguments till October 16.

A revision was filed against this decision in the District Judge’s court, which was rejected by the MP-MLA Sessions Court after hearing. On Tuesday, Abdullah Azam’s advocates filed written arguments. After this, the hearing of both the parties has been completed in the court. The court gave its verdict on Wednesday
