Senior Leader of Congress Ghulam Nabi Azad resigns from all posts

New Delhi. Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has resigned from all Congress posts. He has also resigned from the primary membership of the party. Azad’s resignation comes at a time when Congress is going to start ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and has to choose a new president for itself.

It is to be known that Ghulam Nabi Azad has worked in big positions of the Congress organization. He has worked with Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi. Azad, the active member of G-23 was now dissatisfied with Congress Party.

Azad’s displeasure also came to the fore when he was appointed chairman of the campaign committee of the Jammu and Kashmir Unit and a member of the political affairs committee. But few hours after this appointment, Azad resigned from the post.
In the letter of resignation, he has made serious allegations against Rahul Gandhi. Azad has written that Rahul has ended democracy in the party. The Congress leader has sent his letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

In his letter, Azad has written, ‘Sonia Gandhi is a president in name only. All decisions are taken by Rahul Gandhi. He acts childish. He is immatured and ignored my suggestions.
