Hapur (UP):- Hapur police has arrested a history-sheeter who demanded extortion of Rs 10 lakh from Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Verma.
Arrested history sheeter Rohit Saxena is going to call Izzatnagar police station of Bareilly. Rohit threatened to burn the family including the SP to death for not giving extortion of 10 lakhs to the Hapur SP.
Hapur police said that about 10 cases have been registered against the accused Rohit Saxena in Hapur district including Bareilly, Moradabad, Rampur, and more. He had called SP Abhishek Verma abusing and caste-indicative words over the phone.
Rohit Saxena made the photo viral by editing the photo with the SP by creating a fake Facebook ID of the female inspector. He wanted to defame the Hapur Superintendent of Police, as he had sent him to jail in a rape case while posted in Bareilly.
