Ghaziabad’s satirist Subhash Chander selected for Hindi Academy Award

Ghaziabad: The  Hindi Academy Delhi has selected Ghaziabad resident  and well known satirist Subhash Chander, for the Humor Satire Award.

Surendra Sharma, the vice president of Hindi Academy Delhi said, “This award includes a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh along with the honor symbol.

It is known that Subhash Chander has written more than 50 books. Apart from this, he has also written many serials for radio and television.

The satirist Subhash Chander has earlier received many awards like Uttar Pradesh Hindi Institute’s Pt. Shrinarayan Chaturvedi Award, Vyangya Shri Award, Indira Gandhi National Award, Harishankar Parsai Award etc.

Hindi Academy has also selected Nirmala Jain, Ashok Vajpayee, Chitra Mudgal for Shikhar Award and Mamta Kalia, Maitreyi Pushpa, JP Singh, Archana Chaturvedi, Rinkal Sharma etc. for various awards, he add.
