Strong Message on Dowry-Free Marriages, Education and Sports for Social Progress

The 16th Yadav Matrimonial Youth Introduction Conference, organized by the Yadav Matrimonial Conference Committee, was successfully held on Sunday at Vrindavan Green Farm House, Arthala Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad. The event witnessed the participation of hundreds of marriageable youths from Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states, leading to the initiation of several prospective matrimonial alliances.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the release of the conference souvenir titled “Yadav Swayamvar.” The event was attended by prominent political leaders, social workers, sports personalities and intellectuals, lending dignity and significance to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest D.P. Yadav, former Member of Parliament and former Minister of Uttar Pradesh, emphasized the need to eradicate the dowry system from society. He urged families to take a firm pledge for dowry-free marriages, stating that neither should dowry be demanded nor given. He also highlighted the importance of education and employment generation for sustainable social development.
Narendra Kashyap, Minister of State (Independent Charge), said that true progress of society is possible only when collective welfare is ensured. He described the Yadav community as a strong and organized social group and called upon people to engage in constructive and welfare-oriented activities.
Special guest Jaswant Yadav, former State Minister and former State President of the Akhil Bharatiya Yadav Mahasabha (Haryana), said that such matrimonial conferences help young men and women find suitable life partners while strengthening social harmony. Stressing the importance of girls’ education, he said that a balanced and progressive society cannot be built without educated daughters.

Renowned sports personalities Captain Satish Yadav (Olympian and Arjuna Awardee) and Dharmendra Singh Yadav (Arjuna Awardee) encouraged parents and youth to promote sports among children, stating that sports play a vital role in physical, mental and moral development.
Several distinguished personalities, including Ashok Yadav (State President, Akhil Bharatiya Yadav Mahasabha, Uttar Pradesh), Bhup Singh Yadav, Nahar Singh Yadav, Bijendra Yadav, Bharat Yadav, Subodh Yadav, Karan Singh Yadav, Vandana Yadav (litterateur), Jitendra Yadav, K.K. Yadav, Sikandar Yadav, and Devendra Yadav, shared their views on social upliftment and unity.
The cultural programme presented by Kalu Yadav and Party added charm to the event, captivating the audience with traditional performances.
Concluding the programme, Ramavatar Yadav, President of the Yadav Matrimonial Conference Committee, expressed his gratitude to all guests, participants and volunteers for their support, stating that the continued cooperation of the community has ensured the successful organization of the conference for the past 16 years.
The event was smoothly conducted by Ravi Yadav, film actor and producer from Mumbai, along with Satendra Yadav. The conference saw the presence of thousands of community members and hundreds of eligible youths, marking it as a significant social gathering aimed at unity, reform and progress.
