Delhi : On the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth, the married women from all over the country celebrated this festival with great fervour while wishing for a long life of their life partner. This year on this occasion, the Vrat Mahotsav Samiti organised a musical programme and dandiya night in Puja Park-Block East Patel Nagar.
In this programme BJP’s Ravinder Gupta, Delhi’s state general secretary and state president of Delhi Mahila Morcha, Poonam Parashar Jha and Akali Dal’s Delhi state president, BB Ranjit Kaur participated and Pradeep Kathuria also gave his full support for the programme to run in a smooth manner. The collective Karva Chauth pooja was also organized, in which the women participated with full enthusiasm and recital of Chauth Mata was also done.
The convener of the programme and senior BJP leader Arvind Gupta welcomed all the distinguished guests, on this occasion. He told that more than 5 thousand women were involved in this grand Karva Chauth programme.
