Ghaziabad : After daylight robbery of 2 crore in Ghaziabad, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has taken strict action against cops of Ghaziabad. The SSP has been transferred while two SHOs have been suspended with immediate effect.
The SSP of Vaibhav Krishna has been transferred to Allahabad Police Headquarters by UP government. Upendra Kumar Agrawal is posted as new SSP of Ghaziabad. Agrawal us transferred from Saharanpur to Ghaziabad as same post of SSP.
On other hand incharge SSP/SP City of Ghaziabad Shlok Kumar has suspended Dinesh Singh, SHO of Sahibabad and Rojant Tyagi, the SHO of Kavi Nagar. In Sahibabad there was daylight robbery worth 2 crore on Wednesday while in Kavinagar area, there was loot worth lakhs from a jewellers last week and police were failure to nab the looters. Both the SHOs are alleged of negligence of duty to control the crime and to take action against criminals, police sources said.
