Delhi/Ghaziabad : March 10th The forthcoming Lok Sabha General Election polling dates are likely to be announced today the evening. It is expected that, Lok Sabha General Election 2019 will be hold in seven rounds from mid month of April to mid May and finalisation of polling dates are likely to be announced by Election Commission, Government of India, New Delhi today in the evening .
The result of general election shall be announced in any day between 17th May to 20th May 2019 and newly appointed government is likely to be constituted in 3rd week of May from 24th to 28 May 2019.
Once the dates of polling is finalised and a gezzette notification regarding election is is issued and published, the model code of conduct under Representation of Reople Act, 1950 shall be in effect in which no political announcement of any kind of new projects neither be announced, lay down nor could be inaugurated at government level.If the same is violated the election commision can take action against the defaulting political parties and can also derecognise such parties even it can banned from entire election process, under Representation of People Act 1950.
Seeing the present government various projects inauguration and foundation laying functions organised in the last 3-4 days, it was expected that the polling dates shall be announced by Election Commission any day after 9th March 2019. A lot of PM’s functions were organised in the last one week, in these busy schedule.
