Two Rewarded Crooks killed in an Encounter with Meerut Police

Meerut: In an encounter, police killed two crooks who involved in robbery of 10 lakh, during this encounter two police persons are also injured who were admitted in District hospital meerut. Police seized two handmade pistols and recovered near abut 4.13 lakh rupees from their possession.

Circle officer Darola, Jitendra Sargam got input about crooks who were involved in robbery of 10 lakh in Lalkurti area in day light.

As per received information police team reached Uday park colony of Palavpuram areas In mid night and started searching process in whole area. After some time police surrounded the crooks and alerted them but crooks started firing at police team. in self-defense police also fired back. Due to many round of firing, local resident came out from their home. In both side firing, two police persons a sub inspector and constable and two crooks also got injured where in hospital both crooks were declaired died and police persons are in under treatment.

Both crooks were identified as Sakeel and Bhure who had reward of one lakh.

According to Ajay Sahni, SSP Meerut, “Police had information of crooks who were absconding in robbery of 10 lakh from collection agent and as per input police team reached at spot where crooks started firing at police where two crooks Sakeel and Bhure got injured and was declared dead in hospital and other hand our two police persons also injured during this encounter. Two handmade pistols and more than 4 lakh rupees have been seized from their possessions.  Both had criminal history and had reward of one lakh.”
