Satsang Guru Nanak Darbar Trust, established under the aegis of Gurdwara Satsang Guru Nanak Darbar. Following the Guru’s dictum of Sarbat da Bhala, trust distributed branded i3 Laptops in a function held on 16.09.2023 at Gurdwara Sahib in Lajpat Nagar III, New Delhi to 25 meritorious Girl Students, without any discrimination, who had scored 85 % or more marks in class XII in CBSE examinations during the academic year 2022 -23, to empower these young female students from economically weaker section in New Delhi.
The Satsang Guru Nanak Darbar Trust is pleased to share that this has been possible through the initiative taken by the Satsang Guru Nanak Darbar to allocate 5 percent of the contributions of the Sangat for education purposes and funding under CSR initiative by the corporate sector.

The Trust, based in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, has been consistently involved in multiple areas of social upliftment including education for underprivileged children, healthcare through homeopathy, and empowerment of unorganized workers.
Students were addressed by dignitaries such as Retd Justice GS Sistani and Talwant Singh Delhi High Courts, Dr Charan Singh Chairman Punjab & Sind Bank and S Kamaaljit Singh social activist working in the area of education. Speakers stressed that as per the need of the times, computing skills are imperative for all students and it’s our duty to empower students by providing them with the tools required for their studies and skill development.
S. Simratbir Singh, said trust is taking another significant step towards empowering young women to chase their dreams and carve a future filled with opportunities. To bridge the digital divide and foster a more equitable learning environment, he also gave a call to sangat and corporates to donate for such projects to educate underprivileged students. Three toppers from Science, Commerce & Humanities were Prabhjot Kaur, Azima Khatoon & Abha Rawat respectively.
