Delhi─ Students from Mahamaya Balika Inter College-Noida And School Of Excellence-KalkaJi triumphed at the North Zonal round of the National STEM Challenge, an initiative by Brillio in partnership with STEM Learning, a social enterprise dedicated to promoting STEM education among school children.
The cluster round, held at SKV Government Girls Senior secondary school, Bulbuli Khana, celebrated the success of the students who were felicitated by the STEM Learning team and teachers. These winners will now advance to the Finale in Bengaluru on August 27, 2024. Before reaching the zonal stage, 99 cluster rounds were held across the country. Following these, the students advanced to the zonal rounds, which took place in Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Singrauli. Five winning teams from these zonal rounds will now proceed to the Finale in Bengaluru on August 27, 2024.
This event was the start of a year-long series of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) activities, including science and mathematics model competitions, technology and engineering tinkering. Designed to foster curiosity, innovation, and design thinking skills among students from grades 6 through 10, the challenge ensures inquisitively, irrespective of the students’ backgrounds.
The Brillio National STEM Challenge is a distinctive national competition, providing an exceptional STEM learning platform for students from government and government-aided schools across India. This initiative is part of Brillio’s sustained commitment to foster STEM skills among youth.
