6 Encounters in 15 Hours, 8 Miscreants ArrestedSSP Awards Team with ₹25,000 Prize Since taking charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of UP/ Muzaffarnagar, IPS Sanjay Verma has been relentless in cracking down on criminals. Under his directives, a special campaign has been launched to apprehend gangsters, history sheeters, and wanted criminals. In the last 5 days, Muzaffarnagar police have had 15 encounters with miscreants, with 6 of them occurring in the last 12 hours. The police's swift action has earned praise from the general public.

Muzaffarnagar: On Tuesday, SSP Sanjay Verma, along with SP Rural Aditya Bansal, CO Jansath Yatendra Nagar, CO Phugana Rishika Singh, and 5 station house officers, held a press conference. He informed that 6 encounters had taken place in the last 15 hours, and 8 people were arrested in the previous night’s encounters.

The arrested individuals include Javed and Shahid, who were involved in interstate crimes, with cases registered against them in Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh. Other arrested individuals include Irfan, Sabloo, Yunus, Armaan, Irfan, and Matloob.

The Muzaffarnagar police team, led by SP Rural, conducted joint operations in various areas, recovering 7 firearms, cartridges, and 7 motorcycles. The SSP has rewarded the team with a prize of ₹25,000 for their commendable work.

The administration’s efforts to curb crime and criminal activities will continue, providing relief to the general public.
