Picking up right from where they left, ALTBalaji and ZEE5 finally put an end to this long wait with the launch of season 2 of Broken…But Beautiful, that’s now available for binge-watch. The lead cast, Vikrant and Harleen visited the capital city, soon after the release of their web-series and interacted with media and fans. The actors also took out time to visited IILM University, Gurugram where they interacted with the youth on a sensitive topic of handling relationship issues and dealing with emotional problems, past baggage and heartbreaks.
In the new season, audience will witness Veer and Sameera moving on in their life, but unknowingly carrying that invisible baggage of their past. Just when Veer and Sameera think that they are in a blissful phase of their lives, having moved on with Debbie (played by Anuja Joshi) and Ahan (played by Gaurav Arora) respectively, life brings them face to face. We all learn from our past relationships and so has Sameera who has become more like her ex- Kartik and believes only in casual dating and no strings attached relationships. She has commitment issues and scared to give in to people’s emotions. Inadvertently becoming the person who hurt her. On the other hand, Veer has become like Sameera, a complete contrast to his original self, somewhere trying to make-up for his past mistakes. Realizing that he didn’t do enough in his previous relationship, he goes over the top in his love, emotion and affection towards his current partner Debbie. Can one love truly again, without unpacking the baggage of their past?… Will both Veer and Sameera still reel in the effects of yesterday, unknowingly holding onto their pain? What will happen when these two souls find out that despite giving themselves the time and space, their broken heart is still not healed? Will they be able to leave the baggage of their past behind and move on for real. The brand new season will answer all these questions and bring a few more moments of emotions, love and healing, making your heart all warm and fuzzy.

Commenting on their experience, actor Vikrant Massey said, “It has been an amazing journey so far and I feel really blessed for all the love and adulation that I have received. I was fortunate enough to get the chance to work with Sheetal Thakur, who also happens to be my fiancée, for the very first time. The climax scene, which was shot in Nashik, is very close to my heart. Along with the entire east being there together, the mood and the setting felt so surreal. Broken…But Beautiful is one of the most special projects of my life, thinking of which will always bring a smile on my face. What makes it even more special is the love pouring in from all across, including Delhi. I love the vibe of the city and when I am here, I try to make the most of my day. We had a great time interacting with our friends from the media as well as the students of IILM University who gave us such a warm welcome. I hope you all will keep supporting us like always and continue to shower your blessings. ”
On season 2 of Broken… But Beautiful, actress Harleen Sethi added, “As they say, history repeats itself. We had come to Delhi for the promotion of the first season of the show and had a great time. Once again, destiny brings us here in the capital city and I believe our promotions would have felt incomplete if we didn’t come here again. This is my first big project as an actor and working with such an amazing team was a lovely experience. So far, in the show, the audience has witnessed the story of two broken hearts on a journey of healing. But no one knows what lies in store in the lives of Veer and Sameera. Will they get back together or are there still some cracks left. Season 2 will give them the answers to all these questions.”
The first season of the web-series received immense love, unprecedented subscription numbers from the audience as well as renowned Bollywood personalities Like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonali Bendre, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh amongst others and emerged as the most popular love story of the year.
