Court says FIR under NDPS Act and Wildlife Protection Act does not stand legal scrutiny

In a significant development, YouTuber Elvish Yadav has received major relief from the Supreme Court. The apex court has quashed the criminal proceedings against him in a case related to the alleged sale of snake venom and links to drug activities.

While delivering its judgment, the court observed that the FIR registered under the provisions of the NDPS Act and the Wildlife Protection Act does not hold up on the parameters of law. The court noted that the case lacks sufficient legal grounds to continue criminal prosecution.

The case had earlier drawn widespread attention due to serious allegations involving wildlife violations and narcotics. However, with the Supreme Court’s decision, all ongoing criminal proceedings against Elvish Yadav in this matter now stand dismissed.

This verdict comes as a major relief for the YouTuber, bringing clarity to a case that had been under scrutiny for some time.
