Social Imprints – Encouraging corporates and change-makers

New Delhi: Chalk Talk and Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Niti Aayog and ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ organized its 4th Social Imprints – CSR Awards and Summit. The main motive of the event was to influence corporates/businesses by acting and delivering on the global goals to create a better world through the implementation of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, the topics for discussion were:
- Strengthening CSR for promoting Business
- Different Models of Collaborations & Engagements in North-East States
- Encouraging Innovations & carrying out pilot studies for CSR to enable meeting SDGs
The event was flag off by keynote speakers and dignitaries were Mr. Sandeep Marwah, Chief Scout of India & Founder, AAFT; Mr. T C Upreti, Advisor, Bajaj Group; Mr. Harbhajan Singh, Director General, Corporate Affairs, Honda 2 Wheeler; Mr. Atul Saxena, President, IICCI; Gaurav Gupta, Charter President, Lions Club, and many more.
Awards in different categories were conferred upon corporates and their representatives for their remarkable CSR initiatives in their fields of business. Furthermore, the event experienced the news of launching its annual CSR magazine – Prayaas soon this year.
In conclusion, CSR Conclave was an effective attempt to reach out to bigger audience and mould the strength of CSR to transform the lives of millions, helping the corporates to stand out from its competitors.
