Assembly Elections 2022: 5 States to Vote in Seven Phases From 10th Feb. Counting on March 10

New Delhi: U.P. Assembly Elections 2022 will be completed in 7 phases and first phase election on February 10. The second phase electiolon will be on February 14 and same day there will be
Assembly Election in Uttrakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur for all assembly seats. In UP the third phase election will be on February 20, fourth phase on 23 Feb. on 27 Feb., fifth phase on 27 Feb., six phase on 3rd March and seven and last phase election will be on 7 March. Manipur Assembly Election will be in two phases. The first phase election will be on February 27 and second phase will be on March 3. The counting in all these states on March 10.

Sushil Chandra, the chief commissioner of Election Commission of India said addressing press conference conducted in Election Commission Office on Saturday afternoon that all kinds rallies, bike rally, public meeting, Pad yatra, etc are banned by February 17 due to increasing corona cases day by day. The code of conduct is implemented all the five states where assembly elections are going to be conducted and all political parties have to follow the instructions of Election Commission.

After January 15, the Election Commission will see the situation of corona and numbers of Corona cases reports of UP, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. After it the further decision will be taken regarding ban on rallies and political public meetings. The date of ban may be extended or eliminated but it depends on corona cases, added the chief commissioner of Election Commission. All the political parties lk leaders have to follow protocol of covid-19 strictly.
