New Delhi/ Chandigarh: Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister and national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party, declares Bhagwant Man as the name of chief minister candidate of Punjab for Assembly Election 2022. It was called a telephonic servey through providing a telephone number by AAP for Punjab’s CM Face in party. More than twenty lakh people of Punjab 93.3 percent people voted telephonic in favour of AAP leader Bhagwant Man as the first choice. So now Bhagwant Maan is our CM candidate in Punjab, said Kejriwal in the press conference on Tuesday in Chandigarh.
Arvind Kejriwal said, the various opinion polls have claimed that the AAP is going to come in power in Punjab and next government will be AAP government in Punjab. Atacking on Congress, Kejriwal said the leaders of Congress and some relatives of sitting CM are involved in the activities to earn money illegally. So they are facing raids by Enforcement Department.
About 48 years old Bhagwant Man has been known earlier as a comedian and Punjabi singer. Man was elected first time MP from Sangrur of Aam Aadmi Party in 2014. He is very popular among Punjabi as an artist as well as politician. Bhagwant had become emotional when he was declared as CM candidate of Punjab. He thanked Kejriwal, party leaders and public of Punjab.
Bhagwant Maan’s mother Smt. Harpal Kaur also addressed press conference. She said, on this occasion, if Bhagwant’s father would alive, he might delighted too much. ‘I am proud of being the mother of Bhagwant. He is success in politics and it is all blessings of Baba Nanak.’added Harpal Kaur, mother of Bhagwant. Punjab incharge of AAP Raghav Chadha and many others AAP leaders were also presented on this occasion.
