Rajasthan: A youth was murdered in broad daylight with a sharp weapon in Dhanmandi police station area of Udaipur district in Rajasthan. In the video of the incident that went viral on social media, two men are seen attacking him with sharp weapons. After the Udaipur massacre, people took to the streets to register their protest. Shops in Maldas Bazar have been closed after the incident. Internet services have been temporarily suspended in Udaipur district for the next 24 hours following the incident. Large gatherings have been banned. The attackers seen on camera, Gos Mohammad and Riyaz, have been arrested.

AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has condemned the incident by tweeting on the whole matter.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the PM should appeal that we will not tolerate violence at any cost. May all be with love and brotherhood. It’s a matter of concern. It is sad and shameful to kill someone like this. The atmosphere needs to be fixed. There has been an atmosphere of tension in the whole country. I repeatedly tell the PM and the Home Minister to address the country.
