New Delhi: The word ‘Dharmadesh’ may not sound as fanatical and effective to the general public as ‘fatwa’. Fatwa is an Urdu word which also means commandment. We consider fatwas to be fanatical and take them very seriously. Whereas the Dharmadesh is considered by a different section of the Hindu society as the words of saints or sadhus. The basic reason for this is that the Hindu society has to flow in many streams, it has to be divided into different castes. Sanjay Rai Sherpuria, a well-known entrepreneur and social worker, expressed the above statement in a program organized by All India Sant Samiti on Friday. He said that most of the Hindus are comparatively educated, so sometimes they speak in reverse to stand out from the crowd. Many also do this to look cool and educated. Although there is no problem in this, but because of this Hindus are divided. Unity has power, every Hindu knows this, but sadly, Hindus are still not united for their religion and culture, which a particular community has been taking advantage of for hundreds of years. Even today that community is capable of getting anything done on the basis of its unity and violence. The same, Hindus are going to be forced to cut the life of minorities in their own country. This is a serious matter, if we do not manage, then the condition of our coming generation will be the same as that of the people of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia.

Sherpuria said that Akhil Bhartiya Sant Samiti believes that the biggest need of the present time is to unite all the communities that have arisen in the land of India and respond to the attacks on national unity and integrity. If the country remains, we will live. Defense of religion, protection of the nation has always been the aim of the Sant Samiti. Whenever there is any social, religious evil in Hinduism, there is a crisis from outside or from within, then its solution also manifests itself from within. This religion is so flexible that it adapts itself according to the time and circumstance because ideological movements, preachers etc. keep emerging from time to time. Don’t hesitate to embrace new ideas. The education of personal freedom, self-discrimination, mutual love, tolerance, equality etc. is given to us since childhood, All India General Secretary of Sant Samiti, Pujya Jitendra Nand Saraswati told that the Waqf Board should be eliminated and demanded formation of Sanatan Censor Board.

Sanjay Rai Sherpuria said that Hindu society needs to know itself. We need to think about what we were, what we are, what we will be. The caste system is breaking down. Inter-caste marriages are on the rise, yet we become supporters of the caste candidate at the time of voting. The dowry system has been less, but the extravagance on the occasion of marriage is increasing. We are not properly aware of what are our duties towards the country, towards the society. There is discipline on everyone in the country, but not on books, they have no commission and as a result, a person prints anything according to his mind, intellect, those who do the work of treason and we cannot do anything. It can also be said that, we do not have that discipline, awareness, loyalty, hard work, which should be there. Everyone should think together. How to increase self-confidence? Let us go so that we get happiness, peace, welfare of the society, development of the country. Let us avoid indolence, personal-interest, self-blasphemy, self-disgrace, corruption, malpractice, adultery. May we get good sense, sense of duty should be awakened, our thinking should be positive, our contribution should be remarkable. For a long time we cannot move forward ignoring positive values. He expressed confidence that this thought-provoking program “Dharmadesh-2022” organized by the All India Sant Samiti will be a consideration for us and a guide for the country and Hindu culture.

In his address on this occasion, Shankaracharya Jyotishpeethadhishwar Vasudevanand Saraswati said that society will wake up when Hindus become vocal. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the Prime Minister is working to make the ideas of Hindutva reach the masses. Expressing deep concern over the spread of Christianity, he said that the Hindu society will have to make efforts to avoid this menace.
