New Delhi/Gurugram. SP Patron and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav is no more. He breathed his last on Monday morning at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was 82 years old. He was admitted to Medanta Hospital on 22 September after he fell ill. Many relatives and party leaders were present with him in the hospital including his sons Akhilesh Yadav, Ram Gopal Yadav.

Mulayam Singh’s son SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav tweeted the news of his death. Mulayam Singh has been the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh thrice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and all the big leaders across the country have expressed deep grief on his death.
Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was called by the name of the son of the earth and Netaji, was a resident of Saifai village of Etawah. His funeral will be held in the village or in Lucknow, it is not clear yet.
After receiving the news of Netaji, the leaders and workers of all parties including Samajwadi Party have expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved Yadav family.
