Lucknow / Jhansi. The UPSTF team killed Don Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad and shooter Ghulam Ali in an encounter in Jhansi on Thursday.
Both these people killed in this encounter were involved in the murder of advocate Umesh Pal and his two government gunners on February 24 in Prayagraj. A reward of 5-5 lakh was announced by the STF on his arrest.
DG Law & Order Prashant Kumar told reporters that foreign state-of-the-art weapons and bikes were recovered from the slain accused. He said that the UPSTF is trying to arrest the criminals Sabir Guddu Muslim etc. who are absconding in this case with a reward of five lakh each. They will be arrested soon.
