Friend Killed After Refusing ₹20 for Drugs

Ghaziabad: A man allegedly killed his friend by stabbing him following a dispute over ₹20 in the Bengali Colony area of Vikram Enclave under Shalimar Garden police station.

According to police, the accused, Sameer alias Gattu, is reportedly addicted to drugs. He allegedly approached his friend Mushtaq and asked for ₹20 to buy drugs. When Mushtaq refused, an argument broke out between the two. The dispute escalated, and Sameer allegedly attacked Mushtaq with a knife.

Mushtaq reportedly ran inside his house to save himself, but the accused followed him and allegedly stabbed him several times. Family members and local residents rushed the critically injured Mushtaq to Delhi’s Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The accused fled the spot after the incident. Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s family, police have registered a case and launched raids to arrest the accused.
