Ghaziabad: As per instructions by newly SSP Sudhir Kumar, PS Sahibabad police geared up and started checking against criminal and during checking One criminal Mehraj Sulemani; a resident of Meerut rewarded of Rs 25000 has been arrested after a brief exchange of fire.
The arrested accused received bullet injury on his leg and has been admitted to a city hospital in Ghaziabad. He was involved in many crimes including loot of passengers. who boarded his private vehicle in Mohan Nagar.
The arrested accused Mehraj Sulemani is a rewardee criminal of Rs 25000 which was announced on his head by the police. During his arrest, 2 of his accomplices have run away from the spot, The Ghaziabad police is working on combing operation and is likely to arrest him soon. A Car used in many loot, cash, illegal pistol and looted mobile have been recovered from arrested accused.
The SP City, Ghaziabad; Shlok Kumar while talking to A News Of India told, ” we had certain inputs about the arrested accused and police was monitoring his activities as he was wanted in many cases and was absconding. Resulting a reward of Rs 25000 was annouced by police on his head since he eloped to save himself from police, he was wanted in many cases. As soon as he realised he was being followed by police he opened fire on police then In retaliation and safety the police also opened fire back on him and he received bullet injury on his leg and taken to hospital for primary present. Police have seized a Car, mobile, illegal arms and cash from the possession of the arrested accused. Police has worked out on combing operation to nab his partner and we are sure we will nab him very soon.”
