DLF Avenue, Delhi’s most holistic experiential destination is all set to celebrate the occasion of International Women’s Day with a day-long Gala. On Sunday, March 8, the mall will see a host of activities and sessions designed to educate and engage the patrons. Kicking off the Gala would be a chance to express your creativity through a Block Printing Workshop at Chidiyaa. The workshop aims to teach the patrons about the traditional art form of Ajrakh by Chidiyaa’s skilled artisans from Ajrakhpur, Gujarat. The participants get to take back the block printed stole as a memento.

The highlight of the day is an informative and engaging curated series of sessions called Breaking Barriers. A unique collaboration between AIESEC and DLF Avenue, Breaking Barriers is a series of conversations on environment, sustainability, female entrepreneurship, emotional quotient, queer theory and intersectional feminism.

Some of the Speakers include Bhawna Luthra, Executive Director of the Fellows Program at LEAD (Leadership for Environment and Development), Anika Parashar, CEO of River Rock Ventures and former COO of La Femme and Piyali Sarkar, Associate National Project Officer at UNESCO MGIEP.

Interspersing the day will be a unique World Café, a feature of AIESEC conferences. World cafés hold the inherent ability to bind individuals from various walks of life and compel them to have conversations that truly matter.
