Senco Gold & Diamonds Group pledges contribution to relief funds in Nation’s fight against COVID-19 pandemic

· Contributes sum of INR 1.5 Crores to PM-CARES fund & to WB State Emergency Relief Fund to fight against this pandemic · Group’s employees and Senco Gold & Diamond’ franchisees have also pledged their support in overall INR 1.5 Cr contribution

New Delhi, 09 April, 2020: Kolkata-based Senco Gold & Diamonds Group in its continued commitment towards supporting the nation in its fight against COVID-19, has pledged INR 1.5 Crores towards the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund) set up by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund set up by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee cumulatively. The overall contribution also includes one day’s salary of more than 2500 Group employees as well as contribution from the Senco Gold & Diamonds Franchisees. 

Nation is now facing an unprecedented crisis and needs the service of organizations and resources like never before. In such time, Senco Gold & Diamonds Group has stepped forward to show its solidarity and ardent support towards all the initiatives undertaken by Government to fight against this pandemic.

Senco Gold & Diamonds also announced that there would be no salary cuts and the company will remain committed to pay all its employees at 100 plus showrooms their full salaries, regardless of the impact on company’s overall business.
