Ghaziabad: The court o Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) dismissed the bail application of Niharika Chauhan, the Executive Officer (EO) of Muradnagar Nagar Palika. She is imprisoned as accused in the issue of falling ceiling of gallery of crematorium located in Ukhalarsi village of Muradnagar. The incident was taken place on last Sunday and two dozen people were were killed when they were gathered there for a cremation of their passed away relative.

In this issue, the deceased Jayram’s son had lodged FIR against Niharika Chauhan, the Executive Officer, Chanderpal Singh, the Junior Engineer Chandra Pal Singh, Ashish, the supervisor of Nagar Palika Muradnagar and contractor Ajay Tyagi and his partner Sanjay Garg. All of these accused have been arrested by police and all of them are imprisoned under judicial custody.
The bail application of EO Niharika Chauhan, was filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate by her advocate on Thursday and the court had reserved its decision after hearing on bail application. On Friday, the court dismissed bail application of Niharika Chauhan, the EO. However her advocate has claimed to file her bail application in higher court.
