Gurugram: ICICI Lombard General Insurance, India’s leading private sector non-life insurance company, felicitated the Gurugram Special Task Force (STF) Team for their commendable contribution in resolving automobile theft incidents in Delhi NCR. ICICI Lombard senior officials honored the senior police officials including Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Superintendents of Police (SP), Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) with a token of appreciation for their support in resolving vehicle theft related crimes.
With Delhi being the hub of vehicle thefts in the country, ICICI Lombard’s Motor Theft Recovery team carries out various projects on theft recovery. During the lockdown, the insurer executed such a project and provided its lead to the STF. The STF officials undertook immediate action and lodged an FIR against the accused persons.
Commenting on the occasion, Gopal Balachandran, CFO & CRO, ICICI Lombard General Insurance said, “With the rising occurrences of vehicle thefts in the country, it is crucial to take timely action to prevent these incidences.
