Ghaziabad District Magistrate Orders to Install CCTV Cameras Inside and Outside of Medical Stores

Ghaziabad: Rakesh Kumar Singh, the district magistrate of Ghaziabad has ordered to all the medical stores and pharmacy shops of drugs’ owner to install CCTV cameras outside and inside of their shops within one month. In the failing of comply of this order, the appropriate action will taken against the owner of medical shops.

Under Section 133 of CRPC, the DM of Ghaziabad said in his orders that all the medical and pharmacy shops of drugs Ghaziabad selling scheduled X and H drugs as per rule 65(3) of drugs & cosmetics act1940, are directed to install CCTV cameras inside and outside of their shops. They can install CCTV cameras within a month. After expiring the provided period, footage of CCTV cameras can be randomly checked by the drugs inspector or CWFO. If during random checking, the installation of CCTV cameras is not found at any medical stores or pharmacy shops, the legal action will be taken against such persons or shop owners, said district magistrate of Ghaziabad.
