Uttar Pradesh: The officials have been ordered to instruct the traders in the markets with the message of “no masks, no goods”. Considering the seriousness of the Omicron variant, this is currently being considered as the initial step of the state government.

Assessing the threat from the Omicron variant, the state governments have started taking decisions. The Uttar Pradesh government has also taken a big decision considering the possibility of a possible third wave from the Omicron variant. The news has come that night corona curfew will be imposed across the state from Saturday 25 December. During this time every activity will be banned.

According to the latest update, the nightly corona curfew will be in force from 11 am to 5 am every night from 25 December. Along with this, the Yogi government of the state has also set some more standards for compliance with the corona protocols. According to the information, participation of a maximum of 200 people will be allowed in public events like marriage etc.

The state government has instructed the officials to come into action mode. The officers have been ordered to instruct the traders in the markets with the message of “no masks, no goods”. Considering the seriousness of the Omicron variant, this is currently being considered as the initial step of the state government. Chances are also being raised that these protocols can be extended further if needed. This decision of the state government will not only affect the celebrations of Christmas and New Year, however, the government has taken this step keeping in mind the safety of the people from the Omicron variant.
