Ghaziabad : A senior journalist; Manohar Manoj who resides at Kaushambi, Ghaziabad was assaulted by “Himgiri RWA” treasurer Sumit Kashyap. The accused also residing in the same society who after illegally entering his flat No 303, Himgiri under Kaushambi police station.

As per complaint made by the complainant, the accused Sumit enter his house and started abussing him for not meeting him and asaulted the journalist with iron rod and started bleeding from his face and fallen on the floor in uncounsious condition and when nearby people came, the accused fled away from the spot. He further informed that the accused had on so many occassions had threatend the journalist in past through his mobile phone and whatsapp also. In turn, the journalist had already informed his threat perception given by accused; Sumit Kashyap to the SHO Kaushambi.
When today Sumit assaulted Jounalist Manohar Manoj, SHO kaushambi asked him to come to police station. He immediately rushed to the police station where, after seeing bleeding from the face of jounalist, the SHO sent him for medical examination to MMG hospital where medical examination was conducted by doctor on duty there at MMG hospital.
When asked by “A News Of India”, the Kaushambi PS SHO informef this media, ” Journalist Sahab resides in Himgiri tower who had taken a key from the one of the owners of Flat who is residing outside India from past 8 years for the marriage of his daughter and RWA treasurer Sumit Kashyap had asked him to pay RWA fees to Journalist Manohar Manoj and there a heated argument had taken place and the journalist was attacked by said RWA treasurer; Sumit Kashyap. We have lodged an FIR”
But when crossed cheked by the journalist he refused the fact in the case and described that Sumit entered his house and abuse him, and assaulted him and again has threatened him with dire consequences.
