New Delhi/Noida : There’s big relief for air travelers in India. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued new draft guidelines stating that passengers can now cancel or modify their flight tickets within 48 hours of booking without paying any extra charges.

The DGCA has also directed airlines to process refunds promptly after a ticket is canceled or modified.
