Uttar Pradesh | Pajiganj, June 19: A Ganga Expressway bus accident left more than a dozen passengers injured after a double-decker bus reportedly lost control and overturned on the expressway in the Pajiganj police station area on Friday. According to initial information, the bus skidded and overturned before dragging along the road for nearly 100 meters. Three passengers were reported to be in critical condition, while several others sustained injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Authorities said emergency response teams, including police personnel and ambulance services, reached the spot soon after receiving information about the incident. Rescue operations were launched immediately to evacuate passengers trapped inside the damaged vehicle.
Bus reportedly lost control after long-distance journey
Preliminary information suggests that the driver had been operating the vehicle for an extended period during a long-distance journey of nearly 400 kilometers. Witnesses and passengers reportedly indicated that the driver appeared fatigued before the accident occurred.
According to passengers, some travelers had allegedly expressed concerns about the driver’s condition. However, the bus continued its journey until the vehicle lost balance and overturned on the expressway.

Rescue teams launched immediate operation
