Ghaziabad: In a significant community welfare initiative, Rotary Club of Ghaziabad Greater donated a mortuary freezer (body preservation freezer) to Gurdwara Shri Dashmesh Darbar, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad, with the objective of providing a dignified and hygienic facility for the preservation of mortal remains until the final rites can be arranged.
The initiative reflects Rotary Club of Ghaziabad Greater’s continued commitment to community service and humanitarian welfare. The facility is expected to provide valuable support to families during difficult circumstances, particularly when additional time is required to make necessary arrangements or for relatives to reach Ghaziabad.
The programme was attended by DG Rtn Amit Gupta, who was the Chief Guest. PDG Rtn Prashant Raj Sharma and DGE Rtn Ravi Bali attended as Guests of Honour, while AG Rtn Abhinav Goel was the Special Guest.
The Rotary Club of Ghaziabad Greater team involved in the initiative included President Rtn. Parul Tyagi, Secretary Rtn. Ruchi Sharma and Vice President Rtn. Virendra Arora.
The initiative also received the support and participation of the club’s senior members, including Shri V. M. Chaudhary, Shri Subhash Gupta, Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi, Shri Rakesh Sharma, Smt. Kiran Chaudhary, Shri Sanjeev Tyagi, Shri Kaushal Mishra, Shri Ravi Chaudhary and Shri Yaman Solanki.
Representatives and members associated with Gurdwara Shri Dashmesh Darbar, Pratap Vihar, who were involved in facilitating the initiative, included Shri H.C Josain, Adv. Harpreet Jaggi, Harjeet Singh, Sukhvinder Singh and Mohan Lal, Narender Malik.
The donation is aimed at providing practical assistance to the local community while ensuring that families are able to handle sensitive situations with greater dignity and convenience.
