Ghaziabad: Vijay Nagar Police got a big success in arresting of accused who had stolen jewelleries worth Rs 15 lakh in this regard police has recovered 29 gold chains from the possession of Arrested accused.
In the press conference, Shlok Kumar, SP City Ghaziabad told that on November 17, Jitendra Kumar alias Titu, accused of stealing gold jewelery worth Rs. 15 lakhs from Jayshree Jewellers from Dasna, Ghaziabad.
On 18th November, Rameshwar Kumar SO Vijay Nagar was on routine checking near Sen colony Releshwar Temple, suddenly police saw a suspicious person and searched him and found 29 gold chains from his possession. When police asked him about these gold chain but he could not give satisfactory answer to the police. On the suspicion, he was nabbed by the Vijay Nagar police.
During police investigation, police came to knew the facts of the case and theft of Dasna jewellery shop. The accused, who was arrested, is a resident of Patel Nagar under Sihani Gate Police station, who used to operate another jewelery shop in Dasna Gate. There was a lot of debt on the accused, so he planned to come out of debt by stealing gold from the jewellers which led to the theft occurred in the hands of accused.
