Greater Noida: On the festival of Rakshabandhan, pure sweets and food items should be available to the residents of the district, the instructions have been given by district magistrate. following the DM order, the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department raided at many places in the district. Departments are checking the adulteration in sweets in view of the upcoming Raksha Bandhan and Eid festivals. District Magistrate Gautam Budh Nagar BN Singh is conducting the intensive campaign against the adulteration mafias. Food Safety Officer Rakesh Kumar’s team conducted an operation in the Greater Noida area.
The team took the sample of cashew barfi from the Brijwasi Sweet at Lakhnavali Surajpur, a sample of milk cake from Dev Mishthan Bhandar and about 10 kg Bundi Ladoos were destroyed. After this, a sample of cheese from Baba Ram Mohan Dairy has been collected and sent to Lucknow laboratory for examination. The second team led by Ramnaresh Food Safety Officer, RP Gupta, and Preeti Food Safety Officer, after an extensive inspection in Noida area, laboratory of samples of khoya from Shri Krishna Sweet located in Sector 41 and Gulab Jamun from Agarwal Sweet, Sector 58.
Following the instructions of the District Magistrate, there will be a continuous campaign by the Department of Food Safety and Drug Administration until the festival of Rakshabandhan. This information has been given by the District Designated Food Safety and Drug Administration Department.
