World Sikh Chamber of Commerce (WSCC) senior member team lead by Jasleen Kaur Chadha, Associate President , Author Sherry (Vice President) and Kulvinder Kaur (Member) were invited for a high level Sikh delegation meet, Sadbhavana-A gesture of goodwill, with Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi ji. The Sikh elite & prominent personalities from all walks of life were part of this meeting.
The event was hosted at PM residence and beautiful arrangements were done. PM praised contribution of Sikhs towards Indian as well as Global economy and society. He urged Sikh Organisations to continue the same. PM Modi also talked about his long association with Sikhs, his personal visits to Gurdwaras, Langar and Sikh Gurus teachings. He specifically touched Guru Teg Bahadurji’s sacrifice for mankind.
Mrs Chadha was priviledged to get an opportunity to present a beautiful ‘Ek Onkar’ momento to PM and give him a short update about WSCC.
Mrs Chadha said that such events bring motivation to organisations to work more aggressively towards growth and welfare of our country and society. Dr. Parmeet Singh Chadha, Founder and President of WSCC is out of country, so he was unable to attend this important event, personally but shared his appreciation for PM’s gesture towards our community.
