Book for children released in the capital

New Delhi :- Actor-teacher, author & former national secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Vani Tripathi Tikoo released her book ‘Why can’t elephants be red’ at a packed Kamini Auditorium in the capital city on Wednesday. Prominent amongst those present were Smriti Zubin Irani, Union Minister Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs; award-winning filmmaker & branding specialist Rahul Mittra; Bollywood director Rahul Rawail; Paresh Rawal, actor & NSD’s chairperson and Professor Ramesh Chandra Gaur, Director, NSD. Keeping her work with children alive after having done theatre with kids for more than two decades at the National School of Drama, Theatre in Education Company and having written plays that turned into performances, Vani has finally forayed into writing for children with this book published by Niyogi Books.
