The film “1922 Pratikar Chauri Chaura” starring film actor and MP Ravi Kishan in the lead is going to release on 30th June 2023
Hundred years ago in 1922, the people of Chauri Chaura village of Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh raised their voice against the atrocities of the British rule. Due to this revolutionary rebellion, many revolutionaries were martyred. On completion of 100 years of Chauri Chaura incident, the film ‘1922 Pratikar Chauri Chaura’ based on this incident is now ready for release. Ravi Kishan has played the lead role in this film of producer-director Abhik Bhanu. The trailer of the film has created curiosity among the audience about the film and people are eager to see the unheard truth on the big screen.
The film is about the real heroes of our country who fought against oppression and lost their lives. Director&Producer Abhik Bhanu is bringing the truth of that incident through this movie, which is being presented by Sarayu Vision. It is being released all over India by Sarthak Cinema.
In this movie, famous film actor Ravi Kishan has played the role of Bhagwan Ahir, the hero of the Chaurichaura movement, while Ravi Shankar Khare, chairman of Bharatendu Natya Akademi, has played the character of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. The names of Mamta Jitwani, Vijay Trivedi, Sapna Trivedi are also notable among the artists. Mamta Jitwani’s performance in the film is commendable.
The film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Anil Nagrath, Upendra Pandey, Deep Sharma, Pawan Pandey, Trishu Raj, Vijay Dey.
Ravi Kishan says that it is very important to teach the history of Chaurichaura in schools and show it on screen. Some people suppressed the real form of Chaurichaura’s revolution. Doing so is a betrayal of the revolutionaries of our country. We and our future generations would also like to know what happened in our past. If seen, those revolutionaries of Purvanchal were the real heroes, whose names were never recorded in history. Through this film, an attempt has been made to convey the sacrifice of those revolutionaries to the public.
Producer director Abhik Bhanu said that when I heard that a lot of facts have been hidden in the Chauri Chaura incident, I thought of making a film on this subject. After that we did a lot of deep research. During the research, many such documents were found, in which many unheard and untold facts came to the fore. On this incident Shahid Amin and Prof. Read many books including the books written by Himanshu Chaturvedi. At that time this incident was called a scandal whereas we have also said in the trailer of the film that it was not a scandal but a revolution.
Produced under the banner of Sarayu Vision, the film 1922 Pratirak Chaurichaura is produced by director Abhik Bhanu, DOP Manoj Gupta, composer Shubhash Tiwari.
