Ghaziabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party has declared Sunita Dayal as the Mayor candidate of Ghaziabad late on Sunday evening. Since morning on Sunday, there was a lot of talk about making him the mayoral candidate, which proved to be correct by the evening.
Even after Rajeev Sharma bought three nomination papers in the name of Sunita Dayal on Sunday, it was confirmed that the BJP would declare Sunita Dayal as its mayor candidate.
It is noted that Sunita Dayal has been an active worker of BJP since 1995. She has also contested the assembly elections from Ghaziabad in 2004, though she could not get success then. She has also held the post of Vice President in BJP state twice. Presently also he is on the post of State Vice President in BJP. There is a lot of enthusiasm among his supporters and BJP people on making him the mayor candidate. Sunita Dayal will file her nomination papers on Monday (today) as BJP Mayor candidate.
