Moradabad: A review meeting of the Rashtriya Bhrashtachar Daman Parishad, Bharat was held at the residence camp office of the Council’s National Vice President, Mr. Shahid Hussain, on Sunday. The meeting focused on evaluating the ongoing programs launched by the Council to fight corruption across the country.

Addressing the gathering, the Council’s National President, Mr. K.K. Mishra, strongly criticized political parties for neglecting the issue of corruption since independence. He said that parties have largely pursued their own interests, while scams and scandals have obstructed the nation’s progress. “Commission agents and bribe-takers have caused severe harm to the public. Even today, corruption and terrorism remain major challenges for the country,” Mishra remarked.

Highlighting the government’s current initiatives, he said, “The present government has announced a zero-tolerance policy to curb corruption and terrorism. These efforts will begin to show results in the coming years. But real change requires collective effort.”

Mr. Mishra urged citizens, particularly the youth, to stay alert against adulterators, commission-takers, and brokers, while vowing not to give in to illegal demands such as security fees. He further called for active reporting of corrupt practices, stressing that public cooperation was vital to ensure that “our country and society do not suffer any kind of loss.”

The meeting concluded with a pledge to strengthen the Council’s activities and raise awareness across communities to eliminate corruption from the grassroots level.
